Teeth Whitening

Cosmetic Teeth Whitening is all the rage these days and we can help you achieve this at Classic Dental! Do you like the color of your teeth? Can it be whiter? When someone meets you for the first time, the first thing they notice are eyes, second is teeth, and third is hair. But people spend way more money on their hair than their teeth. Teeth Whitening is a fast, inexpensive and non-invasive solution to achieving a brighter smile…an investment worth making! At Classic Dental, we can help you attain a more confident smile…a lasting impression.

Why Choose Teeth Whitening?

Teeth Whitening provides a way for you to lighten the natural color of your teeth without causing it any damage. Our teeth contain millions of small microscopic pores and over time, substances from food, fizzy drinks, tea, coffee or tobacco penetrate these small pores causing our teeth to discolor and lose that natural shade. Teeth Whitening enables you to regain that beautiful smile and achieve a fast and instant color transformation of your teeth.

Whether you choose our in-office LED Whitening system, which achieves whitening in under an hour, or the home whitening kit, each treatment is tailored specifically to the individual needs of the patient.  Why settle for yellow, dingy teeth, let the dentists at Classic Dental help you achieve the smile you deserve.

Please note that not all the patients are suitable for whitening and an initial assessment is always recommended. We recommend a dental cleaning prior to whitening to achieve better results.

Does Bleaching Damage the Teeth?

No. When carbamide peroxide, the active whitening agent, contacts water, hydrogen peroxide is released which whitens the teeth. Research shows that there is no risk to the enamel of the tooth from this treatment. Bleaching does not soften, demineralize or weaken the teeth.

Do Over-the-Counter Bleaching Products Work?

There is some evidence that over-the-counter bleaching products do whiten teeth, however, many of the products are too abrasive and can damage the teeth with extended use or misuse. Supervision by your dentist is always the safest and most effective way to whiten your teeth.

Eating and drinking sensibly, adopting a good dental hygiene regime and making regular appointments with a dentist can all help to ensure that your smile remains healthy and strong, as well as remaining beautiful.
